"Jamais la même vague"

La beauté dans un monde en feu.

On the 31st May, the doors of the most beautiful medieval building in Pont-Croix opened for an exhibition of photographs by Tom Fecht and my paintings.

Four floors of art works in a dialogue with the seascapes of the Cap Sizun, our home; with poets and writers from different horizons…

From 31st May to 30th September 2024 in the Marquisat Museum in Pont-Croix (Finistère, Bretagne).

Open every day (except Saturday).

"The work of Tom Fecht and Anna Le Moine Gray gives us a sense of continuity in transformation. Endlessly, from dawn for one, to dusk for the other, they depict the same rock, the same jetty, the same coastline, humbly, stripped of all arrogance. They offer us the mystery of the vast horizon that assigns us our rightful place, a grain of sand in the cosmos. In the midst of the tumult and fury of our times, the vision of these two artists gives us a breath of fresh air, a way forward, a new perspective on what surrounds us and a beauty that is sometimes forgotten. They remind us of the grandiose yet simple magnificence of our stretch of land surrounded by the waves, They remind us how lucky we are to be in this world, right here.

« Beauty in a world on fire » ... Because uncertainty is our lot."

Benoît Lauriou - Maire de Pont-Croix

A full colour catalogue of 128 pages is available with texts by Lily Le Brun, Jean-Luc Le Cleac'h, Ute Guzzoni, Gérard Klein, Agnes Martin and Frédéric Ohlen.

There will be several events and readings during the exhibition.
